The Challenge

Inflate Modern Balloons had a business that was working — but a website that wasn’t.

The company was generating interest through its existing channels, but the website wasn’t giving potential customers a clear path from discovering the brand to actually making an inquiry.

There were no booking forms on the website, creating unnecessary friction at the exact moment a potential customer was ready to take action.

Search visibility had also stagnated, limiting organic discovery and making the business increasingly dependent on paid channels and existing awareness.

Behind the scenes, the website created another problem. It was slow to update, prone to issues, and demanding more maintenance than it should have required.

And while the business itself had evolved, the website hadn’t kept pace.

The brand deserved a website that reflected the quality of the work — one that could attract visitors, build trust, and make it easy for them to take the next step.

The Conversion Bottlenecks

Inflate didn’t have a reach problem alone. The bigger issue was what happened once potential customers reached the website.

Bottleneck What it looked like Why it mattered
No Booking Path Visitors had no dedicated booking forms or clear conversion path Interested customers had unnecessary friction between discovering the business and making an inquiry
Stagnant Search Visibility The site wasn’t effectively targeting or communicating its value for relevant organic searches Potential customers could discover competitors before discovering Inflate
Maintenance Overhead The existing site was slow to update and prone to issues Time spent maintaining the website was time that could have been spent growing the business
Brand Experience Gap The website didn’t reflect the quality, personality, and professionalism of the actual business A weak digital impression could undermine trust before a customer ever made contact

The new website needed to look like the business it represented while making it significantly easier for customers to take action.

The Goals

The client came to Happiworks with four clear priorities:

Goal What needed to change Why it mattered
Increase Bookings Create a clear, friction-free path from browsing to inquiry Turn website traffic into measurable business opportunities
Improve SEO Rankings Restructure content, metadata, headings, and internal linking Increase organic visibility and reduce dependence on paid channels
Reduce Maintenance Overhead Move to a cleaner, more manageable Webflow foundation Give the team a website that was easier to maintain and update
Strengthen Brand Perception Rebuild the interface around the actual Inflate brand and customer experience Make the website feel as professional and polished as the business itself

The Strategy

Happiworks developed a structured plan across three phases.

  1. Discovery & Audit

  2. Strategic Planning

  3. Implementation Roadmap

Phase 01 — Discovery & Audit

The engagement began with a thorough technical SEO audit, a UX review, performance analysis, and competitor research to establish a clear baseline.

The goal was to understand exactly where the existing website was creating friction — technically, visually, and commercially.

Phase 02 — Strategic Planning

Armed with those findings, the team produced a platform recommendation, a conversion optimization plan, content restructuring guidelines, and CMS architecture improvements.

Every recommendation was tied back to one question:

How can the website make it easier for the right customer to choose Inflate?

Phase 03 — Implementation Roadmap

Finally, everything was translated into a concrete execution plan — complete with a timeline, defined milestones, and a launch plan.

What Happiworks Delivered

The rebuild wasn’t simply a visual redesign. The website was rebuilt around the entire customer journey — from discovery to trust to conversion.

Area What Happiworks changed Business impact
Platform Migration Migrated the website to Webflow, rebuilt the CMS structure, cleaned up legacy code, and removed unnecessary plugins Created a leaner, more manageable foundation
UX & Design Improvements Redesigned the interface around the brand with clearer navigation, stronger CTAs, and a mobile-first experience Reduced friction and made the customer journey easier to follow
Performance Optimization Reduced page load times, optimized Core Web Vitals, and compressed assets across the site Created a faster and more consistent experience across devices
SEO Enhancements Optimized metadata, restructured headings, improved internal linking, mapped redirects, and optimized the sitemap Built a stronger technical foundation for organic visibility
Conversion Optimization Restructured landing pages, simplified forms, integrated video, and clarified messaging hierarchy Gave visitors clearer next steps and reduced conversion friction

Platform Migration & Technical Foundation

The site was migrated to Webflow, starting with a complete rebuild of the CMS structure.

Legacy code was cleaned up and unnecessary plugins were removed, creating a leaner and more manageable foundation.

The goal wasn’t simply to change platforms.

It was to create a website that the business could actually maintain without the ongoing technical overhead of the previous setup.

UX & Conversion-Focused Design

The interface was redesigned from the ground up with the Inflate brand at the core.

The customer journey was simplified around the decisions visitors actually need to make:

Discovery → Services → Trust → Inquiry

CTAs were placed where they could naturally support that journey rather than being treated as an afterthought.

The mobile experience was also treated as a first-class part of the design rather than a smaller version of the desktop website.

Performance Engineering

Page load times were significantly reduced and Core Web Vitals were brought up to standard.

Assets were compressed across the site to ensure the visual experience remained engaging without allowing large media files to create unnecessary friction.

The result was a website capable of showcasing Inflate’s work without sacrificing speed.

Result: a 90% GTmetrix Performance score, 98% Structure score, 659ms Largest Contentful Paint, and 157ms Total Blocking Time.

Search Visibility & SEO

The rebuild also addressed the technical and structural SEO problems holding the previous website back.

Metadata was fully optimized, headings were restructured for clarity and crawlability, and internal linking was improved to better distribute page authority.

Redirect mapping and sitemap optimization ensured that the migration didn’t sacrifice existing search equity.

The final site achieved a 92 Lighthouse SEO score, creating a stronger foundation for organic discovery.

From Visitor to Booking

The website needed to do more than look better.

It needed to help potential customers move from interest to action.

Landing pages were therefore restructured around the user’s decision-making journey.

Video was integrated to build trust and engagement, forms were simplified to reduce friction, and the messaging hierarchy was clarified so visitors always knew what to do next.

The objective was simple:

Don’t make the customer figure out how to hire you.

The technical performance improvements were significant.

Metric Result Why it matters

The Business Results

The technical improvements were important.

But the numbers that mattered most were the business numbers.

Within the period following launch, Inflate secured 45 bookings and generated over $50,000 in revenue.

That meant the website had moved from being a passive digital presence to becoming a measurable part of the company’s acquisition process.

45 bookings.

$50,000+ in revenue.

The website was finally working as hard as the business behind it.

Key Business Takeaways

Conversion starts with removing friction.

A potential customer shouldn’t have to search for how to get in touch or figure out what happens next. When someone is ready to inquire, the website needs to make that action obvious and easy.

Performance is part of the customer experience.

A fast website isn’t just a technical achievement. When customers are browsing services, viewing portfolios, and deciding whether to trust a business, every unnecessary second creates friction.

SEO creates another acquisition channel.

Paid traffic can generate visibility, but organic search creates an additional way for customers who are already looking for a service to discover the business.

The website should reflect the business.

Inflate had evolved beyond the experience represented by its old website. The redesign brought the digital presence closer to the actual quality, personality, and professionalism of the company.

A website should generate measurable business outcomes.

The ultimate objective wasn’t a prettier interface.

It was a website that could attract visitors, communicate value, remove friction, and turn that attention into real opportunities.

The Final Result

Inflate Modern Balloons already had the product, the expertise, and the demand.

What was missing was a website capable of turning that existing potential into a stronger digital acquisition channel.

Happiworks rebuilt the experience around visibility, performance, presentation, and conversion — creating a faster, more search-friendly, and more effective website.

The result was a site that didn’t simply represent the business.

It helped generate business.
